Join the Team Shaping the Future of CAD

Are you ready to bring your design skills and passion for teaching into a dynamic, office-based role with a leading software company? AG/CAD Ltd is searching for a CAD Software Trainer to join our growing, friendly team at our Cheshire headquarters. This is an on-site position, offering the chance to work closely with our expert developers, support staff, and customers — all under one roof.

About Us

AG/CAD Limited is the name behind KASEMAKE, the powerful Windows-based CAD software trusted by design professionals across the globe. Our software helps users to create innovative 2D structural designs, typically related to packaging, displays and signs. We also supply cutting-edge CNC machines tailored for the packaging and signage industries.

What You’ll Do

In this hands-on role, you'll be the go-to expert delivering clear, engaging, and practical training sessions to KASEMAKE users of all levels. Most of your training will take place right here at our Cheshire offices, where you'll become an integral part of a collaborative and creative team. You’ll also occasionally travel across the UK (and occasionally overseas) to deliver bespoke, on-site training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead energetic and effective in-person training sessions at our Cheshire HQ
  • Deliver remote training online when required
  • Tailor courses to suit all levels of experience and specialisms
  • Stay up to date with the latest KASEMAKE features and update training materials accordingly
  • Test new software versions and provide feedback to our development team
  • Train users on integrating KASEMAKE with CNC cutting machines
  • Support our Help Desk team in resolving customer queries

What We’re Looking For

You're either a seasoned software trainer or a packaging design expert looking to step into a more customer-focused role. Either way, you’re a confident communicator with a knack for explaining complex tools in simple terms. You're also tech-savvy, proactive, and thrive in a busy office environment.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 2+ years as a software trainer
  • Experience in cardboard packaging design/manufacturing an advantage
  • Knowledge of KASEMAKE CAD is a big plus, but training will be provided
  • Strong CAD skills (any platform) and familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Experience training groups in-person and online

What’s in It for You?

  • A Cheshire-based, office-first role with a supportive, collaborative team
  • Competitive salary (depending on experience)
  • Company car
  • Full training provided for the right candidate
  • Company pension scheme

Ready to Take the Next Step?
