Job Title: CAD/Revit Technician – Security Integration & BIM

Reports to: General Manager

Location: Embedded at Client Office, Central London (Hybrid – Project Dependent)

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Role Overview

Kore Systems is seeking an experienced CAD Technician to support the delivery of high security integration projects across London. This role is embedded within a key client’s central London office and will produce drawings based on designs provided by the client.

Working arrangements will vary depending on project requirements and may involve working from client sites, the office, or remotely.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality design documentation and contributing to the development of Revit libraries and BIM workflows. The role requires security clearance for document submission, though full involvement in all project activities is permitted.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce CAD drawings and 3D models in Revit in line with project and client specifications
• Create detailed ‘as-installed’ drawings for access control, CCTV, and containment systems
• Develop and maintain Revit content, including families and standard libraries
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure the accuracy and coordination of technical drawings
• Assist in the preparation of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) documentation, assist with technical submittals, schedules, and any documentation required by the PMs
• Support the application and consistency of BIM standards across active projects
• Work from various locations including client sites, the client’s central London office, and home, depending on project needs
• Responsible for uploading documents to Acones and monitoring the workflow of submitted documents.

Person Specification

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a CAD Technician role, preferably within security systems, MEP, or infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with strong understanding of BIM principles
• Experience producing detailed technical drawings and system layouts
• Ability to create and manage Revit families and project libraries
• Skilled in compiling O&M documentation
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Eligible for or willing to obtain UK Security Clearance
• Located within a commutable distance to Central London
• Prior experience working within high-security or classified environments
• Knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms
• Interest in ongoing professional development, with a willingness to undertake further training and certification where required
