Job summary

Avove is hiring a CAD Manager to lead the UK Water Design Team. The role focuses on delivering water and wastewater designs across frameworks with Northumbrian Water Group, Severn Trent Water, and United Utilities, based from Glasgow, Durham, or Birmingham, with hybrid working options.

The successful candidate will oversee the CAD process end-to-end, manage teams, and drive CAD standards and BIM implementation within a multidisciplinary design environment.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree qualification or equivalent technical qualification (HNC, HND, etc.).
• Basic understanding of water/wastewater design and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CAD process from design to documentation.
• Lead CAD design and document control teams.
• Ensure CAD standards and accuracy across projects.
• Mentor CAD technicians at all levels.
• Support CAD software licensing and vendor relationships.
