Job Title: CAD Design Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CAD Design Engineer for our client based in Longton / Newcastle Under Lyme areas.

This is a fantastic role with the opportunity for an immediate start.

Responsibilities:

1. Draw customer orders to specifications and create required part DXFs.
2. Follow scheduled plans and identify and resolve potential issues.
3. Ensure adherence to Health & Safety procedures, fostering a safety-first culture.
4. Ensure quality procedures are followed, promoting continuous improvement and a right-first-time mentality.

Additional Duties:

1. Modify customer orders using 2D AutoCAD and 3D SolidWorks.
2. Use tooling software such as Radan and Salvagnini to program punch machines.
3. Implement changes in CAD models to facilitate production.
4. Liaise with various departments and communicate with external suppliers and customers.
5. Respond to sales queries and order internal parts as needed.
6. Contribute to continuous product improvement.

Working hours: 08:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday.

Immediate start available.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
