Job summary

CMD Recruitment is seeking an experienced Draughtsperson to join an established team in Frome, Wiltshire. You will produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models, conduct site surveys, and liaise with clients, architects, engineers and other professionals.

This permanent role offers a salary of £35,000–£50,000 depending on experience, a generous holiday allowance, a profit share scheme and a company pension. A genuine interest in engineering and technical design will help you thrive.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Draughtsperson.
• Experience within structural steelwork and/or cladding.
• An engineering background.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A reliable and conscientious attitude.
• A genuine interest in engineering and technical design.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models.
• Carrying out site surveys.
• Liaising with clients, architects, engineers and other professionals.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and within budget.
• Maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail throughout the design process.
