Job Opportunity

CAD/CAM Programmers are invited to join a successful, established subcontract precision engineering company specializing in 5-axis milling for sectors such as aerospace and medical. Due to expansion, there is an opportunity for a skilled CNC offline programmer proficient in MasterCam.

Role Overview

As a CAD/CAM Programmer, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing processes by designing and programming complex CNC machining operations, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and optimize CNC programmes using Mastercam for various machining operations.
2. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to interpret design specifications and ensure accurate production.
3. Analyse job orders, drawings, blueprints, and specifications to perform comprehensive programming.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CNC programming and machining processes.
5. Continuously improve processes to enhance productivity and quality outputs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Proficiency in Mastercam with experience in CAD/CAM programming.
2. Strong understanding of CNC machinery and machining processes.
3. Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
