Datanet Installation Services UK Ltd in the South of England is seeking a Data Cabling Engineer to deliver high-quality CAT6/CAT6A and fibre installations across UK and overseas projects. You will interpret site drawings, install containment, and test copper and fibre while keeping to customer instructions.

The role requires travel and occasional overnight stays, with ongoing training and performance bonuses, and a commitment to safety and quality. Applicants must be authorized to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to complete projects to a high standard.
• Complete security clearance processes for specific contracts when required.

Cabling Installation Engineer

• Full-time, permanent
• Competitive salary dependent on experience
• Performance bonus and yearly bonus
• Working away from home is required but is kept to a minimum where possible. This is not a standard 9-to-5 role, and applicants must be able to commute easily to the offices in Wokingham.

About the role

As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will play a crucial role within our client’s team, working on a variety of projects primarily across the South UK region, you will help deliver high-quality cabling installations based on site drawings and customer instructions.

Please note: This is a cabling installation role, not an IT role.

Key responsibilities
