Job summary
Connect it Utility Services is seeking an experienced Cable Pulling Manager to lead and coordinate cable installation activities across power projects in the UK. You will ensure safe, efficient and high-quality delivery in line with customer, DNO/IDNO and project requirements.
This is an exciting role for an operational leader with strong underground power cable installation experience to drive growth of our power delivery capability and improve safety, productivity and right-first-time delivery
Qualifications
- Significant experience leading cable pulling on power projects.
- Strong knowledge of LV/11kV cable installation requirements.
- Experience in utilities or construction environments with DNO/IDNO specs.
Responsibilities
- Lead cable pulling activities across multiple projects safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate pulling teams, subcontractors and resources to meet milestones.
- Ensure RAMS, plans and safe systems of work are followed.
- Verify route readiness and compliance with drawings and schedules.
- Monitor performance, risks and resource constraints; report accordingly.
- Maintain installation records and handover documentation.
