Job summary

Britannia Row Productions Ltd seeks a Junior Warehouse Technician for the Cables and Mains Department in our Weybridge facility. Full-time permanent role, 35 hours per week, five in seven days.

You’ll join a world-class audio rental team, preparing and de-preparing equipment for global tours and events. Training for PAT is provided, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality in a busy warehouse.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English.
• Technical brain to match a passion for technical work.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• An appetite for learning with a "can-do" attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently, sometimes extended hours and some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare equipment such as cables, power distros and isolation transformers.
• Test, clean, remove tape, recoil and put away cables pre and post-hire.
• Check for damages and report upon return from projects.
• Ensure equipment is stored and labelled correctly.
• In-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment (PAT) with training provided.
• Delegate tasks within the department to apprentices and staff.
• Monitor emails and updates to jobs being prepped.
• Oversee quality control for warehouse operatives.
