Job summary

National Grid Electricity Distribution is seeking a skilled Cable Jointer Trainer to lead and deliver training courses at the Eakring Training Centre in the East Midlands. You will collaborate on designing innovative training programmes, using the latest learning technologies, to uplift apprentices, new hires and staff.

The role requires strong communication, expertise in Low Voltage and High Voltage jointing, and a track record in coaching.

Qualifications

• Recognised City and Guilds qualification or equivalent.
• Extensive experience as an Authorised Person with LVUG & competent in HV Jointing Work.
• Sound understanding of Distribution Safety Rules and Cable Jointing Policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality training in classroom and workshop environments.
• Assist design and development of technical and safety training.
• Ensure training products meet safety and technical requirements.
• Maintain training equipment and ensure calibration and testing.
