Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Cable Jointer in Manchester with full training provided to move into a structured training role. Your background in electricity transmission and distribution will support the development of new engineers.

You will deliver LV and 11kV cable jointing training, assess learners to national standards, and design training materials. A strong technical background and full UK driving licence are required to progress in education and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience within cable jointing activities.
• Strong practical and technical knowledge of electricity distribution activities.
• Hold or have previously held LV Jointing Authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training across LV and 11kV cable jointing.
• Assess learners against NVQ, Diploma and End Point Assessment standards.
• Design and develop technical training materials and packages.
• Deliver compliance and safety training relating to electricity distribution activities.
• Travel to customer sites and training locations when required.
• Full instructor and assessor training provided.
