Job summary

Trade Craft Cabinets is seeking a Cabinet Maker/CNC Production Operative for the Essendine, Stamford area to produce bespoke cabinetry to specification. You will read drawings, cut materials, assemble carcasses and ensure precise, quality results on a well-equipped shop floor.

The role involves operating CNC machinery, setting up an edgebander, and collaborating with the team to meet deadlines while maintaining safety and workshop standards.

Company Description Trade Craft Cabinets operates a bespoke manufacturing workshop that produces and supplies high-quality cabinets, panels, furniture, cupboards, and related products. We support both small businesses needing a single kitchen and larger manufacturers seeking additional production capacity. Products are created in a wide range of materials, including MDF panels, MFC kitchens, and solid wood units. All units feature fully rigid carcasses that are pressed and glued, offered in multiple colours and finishes, and completed with matching ABS edging.

We’ve invested in great machinery and strong production processes but we know it’s the people in the workshop who determine the quality of what leaves it.

Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Cabinet Maker/CNC Production Operative role based in Essendine, Stamford. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, measuring and cutting materials, assembling carcasses, and producing bespoke cabinetry and panels to specification.

The Cabinet Maker/CNC Production Operative will set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery, ensuring accurate cutting, drilling, and routing of materials.

Daily tasks include inspecting finished products for quality, performing routine equipment checks, and maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment. The role also requires collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines and support custom client projects.

You'll need to:

• Have proven experience operating CNC machinery for sheet and panel cutting.
• Have experience setting up and operating an edgebander.
• Be able to assemble cabinet carcasses and fit hinges, runners and other ironmongery.
• Read technical drawings, cut lists and job specifications accurately.
• Measure confidently to the millimetre.
• Understand manufacturing tolerances and quality standards.
• Use hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely.
• Work independently without constant supervision.
• Identify common production faults and take appropriate action.
• Safely handle sheet materials, panels and completed cabinetry.
• Maintain a clean bench and organised workspace.
