Job summary

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner to join a well-established bespoke furniture manufacturer in the Edinburgh area.

Working hours are 39 per week with pay between £17.00 and £19.00 per hour. Permanent and temp-to-perm opportunities are available; start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Experienced/time-served Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner.
• Ideally 5+ years in bespoke furniture/joinery.
• Confident working from technical drawings and with woodworking machinery/hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture high-quality bespoke furniture in a busy workshop.
• Work accurately from technical drawings.
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand/power tools; ensure high finish quality.

Job description

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner to begin work for a well-established bespoke furniture manufacturer in the Edinburgh area.

About the role:

• Working Hours - Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-12:30pm
• 39 hours per week
• Pay Rate - 17.00- 19.00 per hour, dependent on experience
• Manufacturing high-quality bespoke furniture within a busy workshop environment
• Working accurately from technical drawings
• Using woodworking tools, machinery and equipment
• Producing work to a high standard of finish
• Fitting experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• Long-term work for the right candidate
• Permanent and temp-to-perm opportunities available
• Start: ASAP

About You:

• High work ethic & team player
• Punctual & reliable
• You must be an experienced/time-served Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner
• Ideally 5+ years' relevant experience
• Confident working independently from technical drawings
• Experienced using woodworking machinery and hand/power tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous bespoke furniture/joinery experience preferred
• Portfolio or examples of previous work would be advantageous
