A recruitment agency seeks a detail-oriented Cabinet Assembler to join a manufacturing team in the UK. We are seeking a detail‑oriented and skilled Cabinet Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling bedroom and occasional furniture using engineering drawings. This role involves working both independently and collaboratively on an assembly line to ensure high‑quality production.
Experience: Proven experience in furniture assembly or a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Skills: Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Strong attention to detail and precision in assembly tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy furniture components. Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Vocational training or certification in woodworking or furniture assembly is a plus.
Fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Exposure to noise, dust, and other typical conditions of a furniture assembly line.
Monday to Friday 6am – 2.30pm (40 hours paid per week)
£13.00ph (£27.040 pa) increasing to £14.00ph (£29.120 pa) after 6 months’ probation.
Overtime after 40 hours.
32 holiday days inclusive of Bank Holidays.
