Job summary

Stark Defence in Swindon is seeking an Electronics Engineer to own the electrical design and integration of C-UAS systems. You will shape hardware for field deployments across RF, power, and digital domains.

You will collaborate with mechanical and software teams, define test plans including EMC/EMI, contribute to design reviews, and liaise with suppliers to ensure production quality. A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and 4+ years in high-reliability environments are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or closely related field.
• 4+ years in hardware/electrical engineering, preferably defence/high-reliability.
• Proficient in schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium preferred).
• Strong understanding of power electronics and signal integrity.
• Familiarity with EMC standards and design-for-manufacture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate electrical systems and subsystems for Stark Defence's C-UAS products.
• Own schematic capture, PCB layout review, and electrical architecture docs from concept to production release.
• Support hardware integration and bring-up across RF, power, and digital domains, including SBCs and radios.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to resolve cross-discipline design conflicts.
• Define and execute electrical test plans including EMC/EMI considerations for field-deployed systems.
• Contribute to design reviews (PDR/CDR) and produce technical documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers and contract manufacturers on component selection and lead times.
• Support field trials and customer demonstrations requiring electrical performance validation.
