Job summary

eFinancialCareers is looking for a hands-on C# Software Engineer to join its front office trading technology team in London. You will help modernise a business-critical trading platform used by front office teams, delivering enhancements, APIs, and cloud-enabled services.

The role offers a competitive salary of £120,000-£135,000 plus bonus and benefits, a hybrid working model, and opportunities to influence technology strategy and large-scale platform transformation.

Qualifications

Proven experience in C# and .NET development.
Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
Experience designing APIs and distributed applications; DevOps and CI/CD exposure.

Responsibilities

Deliver enhancements and new capability across a high-impact trading technology platform.
Design and build scalable applications, services and APIs using modern .NET technologies.
Contribute to architectural decisions and longer-term technology strategy.
Drive improvements around automation, resilience, performance and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
Support migration of legacy apps to modern cloud-native architectures.
