The role offers hands-on engineering influence with collaboration across engineering and business stakeholders, shaping technology direction and delivering impactful trading

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering capability across C# and .NET.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of API design and distributed applications.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Experience modernising or migrating legacy applications to current .NET platforms.
• Cloud experience across AWS, GCP or similar enterprise cloud environments.

The Role:

A major financial services organisation is looking for a Software Engineer to help modernise and enhance a business-critical trading platform used by front office teams.

This is a hands-on engineering role with genuine influence over technology direction, offering the opportunity to work on large-scale platform transformation, modern engineering practices, and cloud adoption within a fast-moving environment.

What You Will Be Doing:

The Package:

• Competitive base salary in the region of £120,000 - £135,000
