Job summary

World Class Defence Organisation in Bristol is seeking a C++ Software Engineer (Qt) for an initial 12-month contract with a high likelihood of extension. The role is onsite four days per week (Monday to Thursday) at £65.00 per hour with overtime paid at time and a quarter.

IR35 inside umbrella. The selected candidate will remake a console software by improving architecture for maintainability and verifiability, largely as an independent task within a supportive team, using C++, Qt, and related

Qualifications

• Strong background in software engineering and its impact on the system.
• Experience in C++ and Qt.
• Collaborative, open approach to development and ability to sustain momentum.

Responsibilities

• Produce a software console product, remaking it with better architecture for maintainability and verifiability.
• Work largely independently within a team for support/input.
• Ensure the product operates within the intended system across the development lifecycle.
