Line Up Aviation seeks a Software Engineer - C++ / Qt for a 12-month contract based in Bristol. You will join a team delivering next-generation Air Defence solutions with a focus on safety, performance and dependability.

Role emphasizes developing a new software Console product, owning development within a wider team, and driving the full software lifecycle from requirements to testing. SC clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Strong C++ and Qt experience.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider team.
• Experience with multi-threaded applications and ideally DDS.
• Knowledge of Ada would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Def Stan 00-55, DO-178C, IEC 61508 or MISRA C++ would be beneficial.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, verification and maintainability.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer - C++ / Qt for a 12-month contract. As a Software Engineer, you will join a team developing solutions for the next generation of Air Defence Systems, delivering innovative products with a strong focus on safety, performance and dependability.

Role: Software Engineer - C++ / Qt

Pay: £65 per hour via Umbrella

Contract: Monday- Friday, 37 Hours per week, 12 month contract

Location: Bristol

IR35 Status: Inside

Security Clearance: SC to start, UK Eyes only project
