Proactive Appointments Limited is seeking a Mid-Level Back-End C# .NET Developer to join our Taunton-based team on a permanent, hybrid basis (2 days on-site per week). The role focuses on building scalable backend services using C# and .NET Core, with opportunities to contribute across the full software lifecycle.

You will work with junior and senior developers, design and implement RESTful APIs, perform code reviews, and optimise performance within an Azure deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core (latest versions).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git for version control and continuous integration.

Our client is looking to onboard a Mid-Level Back-End C# .NET Developer on a permanent basis to join their growing development team. You’ll be joining an established team where you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside other Junior and experienced developers, contributing to the design and development of new applications and features, and help maintain and improve existing systems.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and a proactive attitude towards overcoming challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for sharing knowledge and mentoring others.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-orientated environment.
