Proactive Appointments is seeking a Mid-Level Back-End C# .NET Developer for a permanent hybrid role in Taunton, Somerset. In this position you’ll join an expanding development team and contribute to the design and delivery of scalable backend systems.

You’ll write clean, well-documented code, participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and optimise performance within an Azure-hosted environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core (latest versions).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git for version control.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and a proactive attitude towards overcoming challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for sharing knowledge and mentoring others.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-orientated environment.

Responsabilités

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications using C# and .NET Core.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues and optimise application performance.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure applications remain current.
