The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool is offering a 12-month fixed-term role as a C&M Diagnostic Programme Project Coordinator (NHS AfC Band 5). There is an exciting opportunity for a 12 month role as a Project Coordinator with the Cheshire and Merseyside Diagnostic Programme. The Programme spans across 5 networks and is one of the transformation programme of the Cheshire and Merseyside Provider Collaborative. If you have excellent communication skilss, enthusiasm and a drive to succeed this role may be of interest.

This role would support the delivery of a variety of projects, including the implementation of the Thrive productivity tool across physiological sciences tests delivered at CDCs across Cheshire and Merseyside, working with a wider team of project and programme managers and the Project Management Office (PMO)

Main duties of the job

The role would be to support and coordinate project delivery across a range of projects, inclduing the implementation of the Thrive productivity tool in the Cheshire and Merseyside CDCs.

The Diagnostic Programme has a well established PMO who manage the support and administrative functions across the 5 networks of the Diagnostic Programme (Imaging, Endoscopy, CDCs, Pathology and Physiological Sciences). The postholder would work as part of the PMO ensuring that projects are supported and meet the governance requirements of the Programme.

Experience
  • Significant experience of providing comprehensive administration and project support functions in a project or programme
  • Experience of administering and coordinating a wide range of activities Experience of planning and organizing meetings including minute taking skills
  • NHS experience
Knowledge and expertise
  • Broad range of IT skills and experience including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other similar systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of the function of a Programme Management Office (PMO)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the national diagnostics agenda
