Job summary

Magnox (NRS) seeks a C&I/Electrical Project Engineer to support multiple project phases, from installation through commissioning and operational readiness. You will work across plant systems, ensuring safe integration and high-quality outcomes.

The role requires a strong C&I or Electrical engineering background, fault-finding skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners. A proactive, flexible approach and relevant engineering qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong background in C&I or Electrical engineering within process or industrial environments.
• Demonstrable experience in fault finding, diagnostics, and developing repair strategies.
• Ability to integrate plant systems and instrumentation into existing site infrastructure.
• A proactive, flexible approach with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Degree in relevant engineering or technical discipline or working towards

Responsibilities

• Support phases of project delivery from installation through to commissioning and operational readiness.
• Lead or contribute to installation, testing, and commissioning of plant equipment.
• Deliver electrical isolation, decommissioning, and small-scale installation works.
• Enable safe and effective waste processing through encapsulation systems.
