Job summary

Workchain are looking for reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a range of temporary assignments with established transport and logistics businesses. If you are seeking flexible hours or full-time hours, we want to hear from you.

As a Class 1 driver, you will safely operate HGVs, conduct vehicle checks, comply with tachograph rules, and provide excellent service at delivery points. A valid UK Class 1 licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card are required, with up to 6 penalty points.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.
• Driver CPC qualification is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles.
• Complete pre-use vehicle checks and report defects.
• Deliver and collect goods in line with customer requirements.
• Follow driving hours and tachograph regulations at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery/collection points.
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately.
