Job summary

CTRG Limited is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for Bedford area roles on both full-time and part-time rotas. The position requires a valid UK C+E licence with at least one year of Class 1 experience, CPC and digital tachograph familiarity, and the ability to comply with driver hours and vehicle safety checks.

We offer a modern fleet, weekly PAYE pay, shift premiums and access to Wagestream for early wage access, plus subsidised canteen facilities and support from planning teams.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C+E (Class 1) licence with at least 1 year driving experience.
• DCPC qualification card and digital tachograph required.
• Understand and comply with drivers' hours and working time directives.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects to ensure safety.
• Excellent communication and flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 for full-time or part-time shifts.
• Adhere to routes, schedules and WTD legislation.
• Perform safety checks and report defects as needed.
• Maintain professional communication with planning and clients.
