Job summary

Venatu Consulting Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated C+E driver for day shifts or nights to join our transport team. The role involves long-distance deliveries with curtainside trailers, ensuring safety and on-time arrivals, and performing pre-trip inspections.

Start location Rawcliffe. Pay £16–£22 per hour, paid weekly. Full weeks bookings with 40–60 hours per week. Monday–Friday with a flexible 06:00 start based on delivery times. Immediate start.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate lorries to transport goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for transport.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel use, and other relevant information.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled C+E days or nights to join our team. Experience in commercial driving, particularly with curtainside trailers, is highly desirable. The successful driver will be responsible for long-distance driving.
