The role involves working closely with large FMCG suppliers and on broader strategic projects aimed at improving national health through product and service propositions.

Responsibilities

1. Building a customer-focused, long-term category strategy that ensures sustainable, profitable growth and outperforms the market.
2. Finding, developing, and managing branded and OB suppliers to meet customer propositions and business targets while maintaining product quality.
3. Collaborating with suppliers to develop efficient Buy, Move, Grow plans for manufacturing, distribution, and sales.
4. Implementing effective sell plans through promotions, features, and events to increase footfall.
5. Forecasting and managing budgets effectively, meeting KPI targets with cost consciousness.
6. Exploring and developing service propositions with existing and new suppliers to enhance our offerings and contribute to revenue and profit.
7. Adhering to Tesco policies, storage, and handover protocols, ensuring compliance and reporting breaches promptly.
8. Acting with integrity and due diligence, following the Business Code of Conduct.
