Job summary

Asda House is seeking a Trading Assistant to join our Buying team. You will support the Buyer with sales tracking, cost and retail adjustments, and supplier coordination to ensure deadlines are met.

You will also handle admin tasks, line listing accuracy, and invoice reconciliation, contributing to range and promotion decisions. The role is permanent, full-time, with hybrid working (minimum 3 days in the office) and an attractive benefits package.

From daily sales and profit reports, to admin support and marketing getting everything accurate is hugely important. And doing it as efficiently as possible will bring savings to our customers as well as to our business. You will support the Buyer in all areas, including sales tracking and analysis. It's important that you keep the admin up to date, including line listing, cost and retail changes and liaise with suppliers to ensure that they keep to deadlines and tasks. You will Impute into decisions on ranges and promotions and answer and resolve store/supplier queries. Other important tasks include raising and reconciling of internal and external invoices to the category and assisting the Buyer with competitor research and the day to day trading of your category.
