Job Title: Buying Administrator / Buyer

Our client, a major roofing and cladding contractor, is seeking a Buying Administrator/Buyer responsible for procuring goods and services aligned with the company's roofing and cladding needs.

The ideal candidate will excel in negotiating competitive prices and ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.

Key requirements include experience in procurement and inventory management, along with proficient knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, and email.

Daily Responsibilities:

1. Procure and schedule products, materials, plant, and equipment.
2. Collaborate closely with project managers, design teams, and the procurement manager.
3. Ensure purchases provide the best value.
4. Monitor and report on price increases, updating internal spreadsheets.
5. Track orders and proactively resolve issues related to late or failed deliveries.
6. Arrange returns for non-conforming products.
7. Maintain and develop the supply chain.
8. Process purchase ledger records.
