Job Description
As a Buyers Admin Assistant for the Womenswear RTW Team, you should be highly organised, keeping up to date with the day-to-day admin, ensuring the collection room, sample wardrobe and buying floor is kept tidy and organised. In the role you will have a clear understanding of the COS aesthetics and the customer.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with all members of your product team, contribute to an efficient information and workflow process.
- Coordinate workload, organising day to day priorities including Ad hoc requests
- Actively work towards meeting deadlines together with your team.
- Sample management for the team and within the wider business, including post, fits, marketing, updating the samples in our collection room and sample sale.
- Prepare and support the Buying Team during fit session. Update the fitting list in priority order, steaming samples and updating our PLM system.
- Support in product overview updates and order amendments.
- Support in communicating on day-to-day issues with our production office team and supply chain
- Collaborate with the Assistant Buyer to ensure a smooth handover of information to our wholesale team.
- Prepare for meetings and coordinate samples and lab dips on request
- Attend key dept meetings such weekly trade, wholesale handover and fitting sessions
- Comp shopping and competitor analysis in collaboration with Assistant Buyer
- Communicate any issues regarding website copy and imagery to the relevant teams

In addition to our values we are also looking for:
- Previous experience as a Buying Intern or BAA in a fashion retail environment.
- A degree in Buying, Merchandising, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the COS aesthetic and customer profile.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- A keen interest in fashion and current trends.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A can-do attitude with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the buying function.
