Buying Admin Assistant

The role reports to a Buyer/Senior Buyer, working together to deliver the best ranges for our customers. You will manage the administration of your department, ensuring all systems are current. The goal is to deliver profitable, customer-centric ranges and support the category with daily administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support the buying team with administrative tasks.
  2. Keep all relevant systems and databases updated and accurate.
  3. Maintain the critical path.
  4. Assist with market analysis, customer activity, sales, and trends.
  5. Support weekly trade meetings with best seller reports.
  6. Manage samples, including chasing and booking in.
  7. Handle samples carefully for sign-offs and range reviews.
  8. Perform ad hoc duties, providing full administrative support to the team.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant experience in electrical department and SOA process is preferred.
  2. Excellent administrative, communication, and organizational skills.
  3. A keen interest in fashion and customer focus.
  4. Driven and motivated.
  5. Retail experience is preferred.

Ways of Working

We offer hybrid working, varying by role. Our Head Office is in Manchester City Centre, accessible by public transport, surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Full-time hours are 36.17 per week over 5 days, with flexible start and finish times to meet business needs.
