Job summary

Keyman in London is seeking an experienced construction buyer & procurement professional to join our permanent team. This role focuses on facades, cladding and building envelope procurement.

You will manage materials budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and build strong supplier relationships to deliver quality outcomes on project timelines. Job Description

We're on the lookout for experienced construction buyers & procurement professionals in London.

Facades & building envelope experience is preferred (cladding, curtain wall, EWI/external render, roofing etc.), but we'd be interested in talking with construction buyers from any specialised discipline.

In general, as a facades buyer, you should possess the skills, qualities and experiences as outlined below:

• Knowledge of construction materials
• Negotiation skills
• Budget management
• Relationship building
• Attention to detail
• Time Management
• Communication skills
• Preferably at least 2 years experience as a buyer, preferably with a facades, cladding or roofing contractor.
• Overall, a good buyer in a construction procurement team should be knowledgeable, skilled, and committed to delivering quality procurement services that support the successful completion of the construction project.
