We have a fantastic opportunity for a Buyer to join our Procurement Team, based at our site in Dalton, Thirsk. This is a hyrbid working role, and the working hours are Monday-Thursdauy 8:30-5:15 and Friday 8:30-3.
In the Buyer position you will become a key member of an established Group Procurement Team, ensuring the order placement of in-direct consumables for numerous business units across multiple locations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
You will need to have previous experience working in a procurement function, with a good understanding of Supply Chain and general procurement practices.
You will have strong numerical, commercial and IT skills, excellent organisation and time management, and a keen eye for detail. A confident communicator at all levels, proactive in problem‑solving, risk identification, and managing change.
