Zusammenfassung

Matchtech Group is seeking a Buyer to support a manufacturing operation in Pulborough, West Sussex. The role is permanent with hybrid working after probation, involving three days onsite and close collaboration with Engineering, Planning and Production teams.

Key duties include placing orders, expediting materials, analyzing ERP messages, and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure on‑time delivery and controlled inventory.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a Buyer or purchasing role supporting manufacturing or production environments.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and confident use of MS Office.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships and communicate clearly with internal stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical approach to problem solving and decision making.
• Organised, proactive and able to work to tight deadlines with a sense of urgency.
• High standards of integrity, ethical working and commitment to environmental considerations.

Aufgaben

• Place purchase orders in line with ERP requirements to support production and project deadlines.
• Expedite material supply with selected suppliers and produce weekly expedite reports.
• Analyse ERP exception messages and take action to prevent shortages and maintain flow of materials.
• Manage selected suppliers to improve on time delivery and control inventory levels.
• Prepare and issue electronic document packs to support custom part orders (drawings, BOMs and related files).
• Liaise closely with Engineering, Planning, Sales and Manufacturing to support delivery priorities.
• Contribute to process improvements and support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and health and safety requirements.

A leading global manufacturing business are currently recruiting for a Buyer on a full time, Permanent basis in Pulborough, West Sussex.

Role - Buyer

Type - Permanent

Location - Pulborough, West Sussex (Hybrid available after probation, 3 days onsite)
