Leicester (around 15-20 mins from J21 Leicester Forest Junction M1)

£25.50 FCSA Umbrella (this role is deemed inside IR35), £18.75 paye – Fully Office Based Mon – Fri 5 days pw

Specific Responsibilities

• Point of contact for the procurement team, managing procurement dependencies across the manufacturing facility.
• Previous experience of delivering this in a engineering manufacturing environment high advantageous.
• Create the procurement strategies communicating clear cost, time and quality deliverables to key stakeholders.
• Supplier nomination, ensuring robust evaluation of supplier capacity and capability.
• Management reporting to evidence performance against key targets.
• Weekly Reporting on outsourcing KPIs.
• Contract Negotiation and Agreeing T&Cs as per Standard T&Cs procedure
• Managing risks and opportunities registers.
• To plan and present plan gateways as per the internal procedure

CIPS preferred or currently studying for CIPSLong term contract (12 months min, although likely to become a long term, ongoing contract)
