Working hours: Monday to Friday 08.30-16.30 (37.5 hours per week)

About the Role

As a sourcing specialist, you will work closely with Sales and Supply Chain teams. Your role involves utilizing their knowledge to ensure the product range supports the company's overall strategy and goals. You will gather and prioritize product and customer/sales requirements, source and price suitable products, plan and communicate changes in product lines, and identify market gaps for potential filling. Additionally, you will research customer needs with Sales and negotiate with suppliers to purchase products, enabling the company to offer a comprehensive assortment to its customers.

Responsibilities include:
  • Responding to field sales requests by researching and quoting products outside the current offering. Setting up items upon receipt of customer PO for smooth transactions (Sales order, Purchase order).
  • Liaising with product management to respond to sales queries.
  • Negotiating with local suppliers on prices and quantities, demonstrating commercial awareness.
  • Responding to ad-hoc price changes from suppliers.
  • Maintaining pricing aligned with sales margin requirements.
  • Discontinuing or superseding products as needed.
  • Cleaning up or discontinuing unsold products.
  • Reporting on discontinued stock holdings.
  • Onboarding new suppliers by gathering information and completing internal forms.
