Job description

Butler Ross are supporting a fantastic organisation based in Luton, with an award-winning procurement function, who are looking to add another buyer to their high-performing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for procurement, seeking a challenging yet highly rewarding position.

The salary on offer is up to £42,000, with a flexible hybrid-working arrangement requiring only 2 days a week in the office. Additional benefits and incentives are included.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Managing end-to-end procurements, including planning, sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance monitoring
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on procurement and contract management
• Developing and implementing procurement strategies for renewing existing and new contracts/framework agreements, with a focus on sustainability
• Maintaining the contract database
• Effective supplier management, including creating and managing a preferred supplier list, and monitoring/reporting supplier performance

Desired Experience

• Proven experience managing the full end-to-end procurement process
• Experience in regulated environments or public sector procurement, with understanding of competition law, is beneficial
• Experience with contract management is a plus
• Specific category experience is not required
