Zusammenfassung

Cambrian Training is seeking a professional Training Officer in the South Wales area to teach and develop apprentices in butchery skills. The role demands self-motivation, teamwork, and strong communication as you work with employers and learners to achieve NVQ qualifications Levels 2–4.

You will deliver workplace-based training, conduct assessments, and support learners in improving literacy, numeracy and digital skills. A driving licence and Welsh language ability are desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Butchery sector.
• Experience in leading a team and supervising others (desirable).
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong IT skills and ability to learn new software.
• Hold D32/D33, TAQA or A1 Assessor award or willing to undertake.
• GCSE English and Maths at least Level 2 (desirable).
• Welsh language ability desirable but not essential.

Aufgaben

• Delivering effective teaching and learning to a caseload of learners in the workplace.
• Development of learner’s skills, knowledge and understanding.
• Plan and carry out assessments to meet the needs of qualification, including in person and online.
• Maintenance of learner records of assessment and progress.
• Engaging with potential employers and learners to identify new opportunities.
• Working with other departments within Cambrian Training to ensure the learner completes the apprenticeship programme on time.
