Job Title: Butcher

We are seeking experienced Butchers to manage our Butchery Departments as if they own the business. This role involves working closely with customers to develop their business, understanding local markets, and providing excellent service.

This position offers the flexibility to operate a butchery business without financial risk. Ideal candidates will have comprehensive product knowledge of all meat proteins, be self-motivated, and eager to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain high standards in stock management, food safety procedures, including record keeping, and meat displays.
2. Work with the Store Manager to develop business plans aimed at increasing sales and profitability.
3. Greet customers, provide advice, answer questions, and take orders with a friendly attitude.
4. Manage stock ordering and stocktaking processes.
5. Lead and develop a small team, including staff scheduling.
6. Cut meat to order efficiently and safely.
7. Ensure tools and equipment are clean and well-maintained.
8. Coordinate deliveries and pickups effectively.
9. Control waste to optimize resources.
