About the role

You will assist the Branch Manager to ensure the Hub provides best-in-class service, managing a department that is Health, Safe, and Legal at all times, maximizing efficiency and customer satisfaction.

This role offers the flexibility to run a butchery business without financial risk. We seek someone with good product knowledge of all meat proteins, self-motivated, and eager to succeed.

You will be responsible for

• Managing all butchery activities in line with Be the Best At standards.
• Preparing customer orders accurately, to a high standard, and promptly.
• Living PRIDE values and ensuring the butchery team provides quick, professional customer service.
• Completing and recording diary tasks as necessary.
• Completing the Meat Pick report as required.
• Supporting new colleagues during induction.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.
• Leading by example, embodying the Booker Code of Business Conduct and Win Together Behaviours.
• Building and maintaining good relationships internally and externally.
• Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and mandatory training.
