Qualifications

• Experience in food production, culinary arts or butchery.
• Knowledge of meat preparation procedures and food safety regulations.
• Ability to safely and efficiently use knives and other butchering tools.

Responsibilities

• Select, cut, trim and prepare various types of meat per requirements and customer’s preferences.
• Ensure all meat products are stored safely and kept at proper temperatures.
• Keep workstations, tools and equipment clean and sanitary.
• Assist with stock checks and rotate products to minimise waste.
• Follow all food safety and health rules during preparation and handling procedures.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production targets and quality standards.
• Answer queries on meat cuts and provide culinary suggestions when appropriate.
