Cheshire West and Chester is seeking an administrator to support statutory functions and the delivery of services for children and young people with an EHCP. The role requires strong administrative experience, excellent communication, and IT skills, with a focus on finance and data management.
The post holder will work from Ellesmere Port office one day per week (Thursday) and can perform remaining days remotely from home. Interviews planned for 26 August 2026 at The Portal, Ellesmere Port.
The post holder will provide business and administrative support for statutory functions and the effective delivery of services for children and young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and their families.
We are seeking applications from highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals with strong administrative experience and excellent communication and IT skills. You will bring proven expertise in finance and administration, along with experience of working with complex data sets, maintaining databases, and using management information systems with accuracy and confidence.
Knowledge of current SEND matters and legislation would be an advantage, as would previous experience working within a Local Authority SEND or EHCP team.
The successful candidate will be required to work from our Ellesmere Port office one day per week (Thursday). All other working days can be undertaken remotely from home.
