Contract Details
  • Type: Fixed Full Time for 12 Months
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
  • Worker Type: Onsite Worker
Salary and Location

Starting Salary: £24,790 (Level one) rising to £25,584 (Level four) per annum (pro rata for part-time)

Location: Chippenham Road, Bestwood Park Estate, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG5 5TA

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for talented individuals to join Nottingham City Council. This role involves providing comprehensive business support services to internal and external customers, ensuring consistent service delivery across the council and community.

Business Support Officers at Level 2 are expected to handle enquiries, signpost services, organise information systems, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with customers face-to-face, in writing, and over the phone, adhering to support standards.

The successful candidate will support the team at Cherry Trees, a modern residential care home offering luxurious facilities and outstanding care for residents aged 65 and over.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proficiency in computer use for correspondence and record maintenance, with adaptability to new IT packages
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Sensitivity to the needs of customers and staff
