The Governing Body wishes to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic and highly organised Business Support Officer to join our dedicated administrative team.
Our school office is at the heart of school life, and you will be one of the first people our pupils, parents, staff and visitors meet each day. You will play an important role in creating a warm, professional and positive first impression, while providing a welcoming, efficient and helpful service to everyone who contacts or visits the school.
This is a varied and fast-paced role, so you will need to be approachable, confident and well organised, with the ability to remain calm and professional when things get busy. Working as part of our administrative team, you will provide an efficient reception service and support a wide range of day-to-day school administration. This will include answering and directing telephone calls, responding to enquiries, welcoming visitors and managing signing-in and signing-out procedures. We understand that candidates may bring different levels of experience so you will work alongside experienced colleagues who will provide support and guidance as you develop your knowledge and confidence in the role. What is most important to us is that you have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine commitment to providing an excellent service to our pupils, families and staff.

Working hours - This position is a term time role, so if successful, the salary received will be on a pro-rata basis with the expectation that the postholder attends inset days for appropriate training events (for additional reimbursement) The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am till 3.30pm (with an unpaid 30-minute lunchbreak). The actual pro-rata salary is £19,273.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.
