Job summary

Unity College in Burnley is seeking a dedicated Business Support Officer to join the Administrative Team. You will support the smooth operation of general clerical duties across the College and help various functions maintain efficient operations.

The post is part time, term time only; salary quoted is full-time equivalent and paid on a pro‑rata basis. An online DBS check will be carried out on shortlisted candidates as part of due diligence.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 qualification or above in related field or equivalent working experience.
  • GCSE level education including Maths and English.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the general clerical duties across the College.
  • Assist the Administrative Team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Contribute to efficient functioning of departments.
  • Adhere to safeguarding and DBS processes as part of due diligence.

Education
