Anexciting opportunity has arisen to join North Yorkshire Council in our BusinessSupport Service as a Business Support Officer supporting both the Discharge Huband Liquid Logic Adults (LLA) system.
Youwill be part of a team providing vital administrative support to Health andAdult Services colleagues, helping to ensure timely hospital discharges andsmooth operation of the LLA system.
Whilstthe base for this role will be White Rose House, Northallerton there will be anexpectation to travel to the other Hub bases at Scarborough and Skipton formeetings, training and collaborative working.
Theideal candidate must be highly motivated enthusiastic, conscientious and flexible to change. You should beable to prioritise your own workload, meetdeadlines, provide highlevel support to meetings including producing an accurate record to a highstandard. The role encompasses a wide range of functions including supporting Healthand Adult Services colleagues with queries on Liquid Logic Adults (LLA) andsupporting the discharge hub process to support timely discharges from hospitalincluding administering meetings and updating trackers and databases.
You should have excellentcommunication skills, be able to work to and develop defined business processes,be organised and prioritise your workload as well as having the ability to workon your own initiative to tight deadlines. You must have excellent ICT skillsand be able to use a wide range of Microsoft and bespoke packages. Accuracy andattention to detail is critical, together with a strong commitment toconfidentiality and excellent customer service.
