A leading organization in public service is seeking a Business Support Officer to enhance community engagement and support the West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner. The role involves developing communications, producing campaigns, and engaging with the public to ensure their voices are heard. This hybrid position offers flexible working and a supportive environment.
We are looking for a creative and dynamic Business Support Officer to join the office of the West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner and support our vision: "Working with partners and the public to deliver safer, stronger communities in West Mercia".
The core role of the PCC’s office is to ensure the voice of the public is reflected in policing. The PCC also allocates millions of pounds to community projects, victim services, crime prevention measures, and ensures the police force has the funding needed to deliver an efficient and effective service for the public.
The PCC needs someone who is passionate about ensuring the public voice is heard and used to improve policing. The ideal candidate will be creative, possess strong written skills, be able to identify risks and opportunities, and have innovative ideas for engaging communities.

Note: The Business Support Officer role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 3 days in the office.
