Business Support Assistant - Children's Services

We are seeking a proactive and organised Business Support Assistant to join an established Children's Services team at the Netherton Family Wellbeing Centre in Bootle. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing essential business support, ensuring smooth operations within the team. This role is ideal for someone with strong IT skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

  • 36 hours per week
  • 9am-5:30pm
  • Pay: £14.40 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
  • Initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension
Responsibilities
  • Provide business support for the team, including managing the Sefton Liquid Logic database.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as typing, handling telephone duties, and note-taking during operational meetings.
  • Coordinate the gathering of information from other agencies to support the manager and team.
  • Perform various administrative duties to ensure efficient team operations.
  • Support the team with additional tasks, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Skills: Proficiency in IT, especially in using the Liquid Logic system.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with team members and external agencies.
  • Experience: Prior experience in administrative or business support roles is preferred.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure in a team setting with a flexible approach to multiple tasks.
