We are excited to announce an opening for 1 x 37 hour Business Support Assistant to join our dedicated team across our network of Children’s Centres and Family Hubs. If you’re an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, we want to hear from you!
Position Overview:
- Hours: Fixed shifts over 5 days, Monday to Friday, between 8 AM and 6 PM.
- Location: Our Children’s Centres and Family Hub receptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a front-line representative at our centres, showcasing excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly phone manner.
- Manage reception duties while multitasking effectively.
- Perform a range of administrative tasks, including:
- Typing and word processing
- Creating and managing Excel spreadsheets
- Photocopying, printing, and filing
- Updating records and information systems, both manually and digitally
- Support service delivery by preparing monthly figures and statistics.
- Arrange electronic room bookings and collate data and information.
- Process electronic orders for goods and materials.
- Assist with financial tasks, including collation of payments and updating financial records.
- Support building security by locking and unlocking facilities as needed.
