Job summary

USP College is seeking a proactive Teacher of Business Studies to deliver high-quality lessons and contribute to both academic and pastoral development across Levels 1–4. The role involves curriculum development, use of digital tools, and active participation in events and student induction.

You will be responsible for planning lessons, assessing progress, and supporting learners to achieve their potential while upholding safeguarding and inclusivity standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree in relevant subject or similar.
• Enthusiastic about teaching with strategies for Levels 1–4.
• Confident using digital tools to engage learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress.
• Provide academic guidance and pastoral support to help every learner succeed.
• Utilise digital platforms (Teams, Google Classroom) and AI to enhance learning and feedback.
• Participate in curriculum development, events, and student induction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and drive improvement.
• Uphold safeguarding, equality, diversity and health and safety policies.
